We overhaul and reconstruct tube bundles to original specifications for various types of applications, such as engines, compressors or turbines, to cool lubrication oil or cooling water.
Our heat exchangers can be manufactured in AISI 444 steel or, upon request, in AISI 316/L. The on-board machine heat exchangers we produce are made using the tube/plate coupling system through TIG welding or roller expansion.
From the technical design to the selection of materials used, through finite element analysis, our goal is to produce certified, high-quality equipment.
RIEM Italy has recently turned its attention to the air cooler sector for cooling natural gas, water and oil.
From the technical design to the selection of materials used, continuing through the production process, everything is aimed at achieving a finished product of the highest quality.
We use wire welding, electrode welding, and TIG welding where tube/plate fixing is required. We are able to reconstruct most air coolers starting from material supplied by the customer, whether it is a paper drawing or a sample.
We provide all documentation relating to the materials used and the PED certification of the equipment, making use of qualified certification bodies. We carry out hydraulic pressure tests on all coolers we manufacture, prior to shipping the material to the assembly site.
