We overhaul and remanufacture tube bundles for various applications, such as engines, compressors, or turbines to cool lubricating oil or cooling water.
Our exchangers can be constructed from AISI 444 steel or, upon request, from AISI 316/L. Our on-board exchangers are manufactured using the tube/plate coupling system through TIG welding or expansion.
From the technical design to the selection of materials, through finite element analysis, our goal is to produce certified, high-quality equipment.
RIEM Italy has recently turned its attention to the air cooler sector for cooling natural gas, water, and oil.
From the technical design to the selection of materials, through the production process, everything is aimed at achieving a high-quality finished product.
We use wire, electrode, and TIG welding when welding is required for tube/plate connections. We can rebuild most air coolers from the material provided by the customer, whether a paper design or a sample.
We provide all documentation relating to the materials used and the
PED certification of the equipment, using qualified certification bodies.
We perform hydraulic pressure tests on all the coolers we manufacture
before shipping the material to the assembly site.
We can certify most of the parts we produce. When required, we can
produce shells/housings in stainless steel for the heat exchangers.
