Riem International Compressors

Riem was founded in the 1970s by Francesco Russo, who immediately focused his business on the maintenance of lubricated and oil-free air compressors, air treatment machines and accessories, and the sale of new and used machines.

Today, the organization covers the entire country, with warehouses always ready to supply the necessary spare parts within 24 hours of a call.

The current organization consists of 50 employees, including technical, commercial, and administrative staff, as well as external consultants and collaborators.

These activities have been structured in order to best respond to the needs of each individual customer, making them more relevant and compliant, which vary greatly depending on each customer.

This result has led Riem to organize itself into distinct specialized divisions:

  • Oil-free compressors, for the promotion and sale of Samsung Techwin centrifugal compressors
  • Diagnostics: remote control of central operating parameters, compressed air, Spm, and energy consumption measurements
  • Oil and Gas
  • Lubricated compressors

Many of the activities listed above have enabled Riem to extend its presence and reputation beyond national borders, particularly with Samsung Techwin.

Many customers have relied on Riem for assignments to be carried out in factories abroad.

Riem Service offers its services by drawing on its know-how, which enables it to intervene with appropriate methods and systems for the adjustment, reconditioning, and replacement of fundamental machine parts.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of L’Aquila has been called upon to participate in this activity, as it has always been involved in, and continues to be involved in, research, testing, and quality certification of the materials used.
